History in the making…
Location is everything….
Twelve years’ experience and a background in custom installation affords us an unrivalled understanding of the challenges our customers’ face. As installers we were frustrated at the lack of mounting solutions available; with nothing suitable on the market we innovated and produced our own and this innovation continues today. It is this insight that has allowed us to develop the most comprehensive product range of its kind which, when combined with our bespoke service, means that we can deliver a solution for every project; whatever the size and however challenging.
Our global headquarters is located 30 miles north of London and within 20 miles of London Heathrow Airport, this makes us ideally located to meet the logistical needs of our clients both domestically and internationally. A dedicated distribution facility based in Northern Massachusetts serves the North American market, offering fast and efficient service and logistics across North America. Our committed team of engineers and technicians handcraft all of the mechanisms on site to ensure that only the highest standards are met. A UK manufacturer with a global reach, we are the preferred choice for installers worldwide. Where others imitate, we innovate and that is why our products and services are now in such demand.
Introduction
Company Philosophy
Out of sight… Whilst many aspire to having state-of-theart technology, few want it to see it. Our unique range of products allows such elements to be integrated within the fabric of a room like never before, making them as unobtrusive, effective and as easy to operate as possible. With Future Automation products, projectors, plasma screens and LCD televisions can all be seamlessly concealed and then revealed for maximum effect, ensuring that technology stays out of sight, if not out of mind, until required.
We combine functionality with quality engineering and aesthetic appeal to produce products that will look good in any environment, offering installers and design professionals innovative solutions to the challenges of integrating technology discreetly within the interior scheme.
‘We always use Future Automation products-we have found them to be absolutely second to none for design, quality, reliability and service - great British made products from a well run British company’.
So, whether it’s our sliding panel mechanism which allows a screen to be completely concealed within a wall, or a projector drop that provides the big screen thrills of a home cinema, without the projector permanently on display Future Automation knows the secret of hiding technology….do you?
‘Future Automation worked with us to display LG’s new Scarlet range of screens at the European Launch in London. Their exceptional attention to detail and beautifully engineered products were instrumental in delivering the slick, stylish and theatrical reveals that our concept required’.

Design Our custom products, for your custom installation
Introduction
We appreciate that, by its very nature, custom installation is a highly specialised field and one that demands high quality and often bespoke solutions. At Future Automation we have both the expertise and resources to deliver fully customised mechanisms, manufactured to a very precise set of criteria. And, whilst it may have started with Audio Visual solutions, it certainly doesn’t end there. As an engineering company we have the ability to meet any motorised automation requirement; from hidden bookcases, to revolving snooker tables and moving room dividers – anything is possible. So, whether it’s a product from our standard range or something out of the ordinary, Future Automation can come up with the goods.
Tools of the future We have invested heavily in resources and our state of the art facilities are fully equipped with the latest technology. A full CAD department allows us to customise drawings in 3D and 2D and as well as a laser profiling machine, CNC lathes and CNC mills, we have full metal fabrication facilities to enable us to take on even the most demanding of projects. Our dedicated assembly facility is where our products are brought to life. All Future Automation products are designed to interface with whatever third party control system that the
installer requires. By working in this way, we can ensure our products fit seamlessly into any custom installation.
Because one size doesn’t fit all… From Superyachts in Italy to Penthouses in London, we continue to work with leading architects, designers and installers on the most prestigious projects around the world. But no job is too big or too small. Whoever you are and whatever your requirements, Future Automation has the product that fits.

Education & Training
Future proofing
Raising the bar…
Future Automation’s education programme demonstrates an ongoing commitment to backing up our products with full training and support. We recognise that the education of our key dealers is pivotal to our continued success. The courses, which are mandatory for our elite dealers and our overseas distributors, involve practical hands on training, problem solving and best practice.
At Future Automation we are proud to be a member of the trade association CEDIA, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, and together we are committed to raising standards internally within custom installation, as well as externally promoting the industry to design professionals through delivering the CEDIA CPD course.
Each course is structured around the individual needs of the company attending and covers the installation, maintenance and selling of our motorised mechanisms and products. This one to one approach and tailored course structure helps with not only our products but with general mechanical understanding.
On site, on demand The support we offer extends beyond the classroom. As well as training, we are committed to working with our customers by offering our expert opinions on site. Our background in installation means that we can work in partnership with our clients to ensure the best solution is specified and that we are delivering the most cutting edge products for each job.
‘Future Automation’s products and services reflect the very best in quality and the latest technology and have answered our needs exactly. The support AMX received from Future Automation throughout was excellent. They worked closely with us to establish our exact requirements, ensuring the installation went smoothly to create just the effect we wanted’. Graeme Scott, AMX

Our ability to innovate is the key to our success. The first company to hit the market with dedicated swivel mounts; we have continued to lead the way with product developments such as our motorised solutions, for which we are now the premier brand and preferred provider. Combining design and functionality, our motorised wall mounts are copied by many but bettered by none. From flat, on wall mounts and functional pull and rotate swivel
brackets, to more elaborate multi-directional motorised swivel mounts and tilt and drops; we have developed a range of products to suit any application, residential or commercial, whilst the addition of locking options makes our products also suitable for marine applications. Arguably, you will not find a better or more comprehensive range than that from Future Automation and if one of our standard products doesn’t suit, we will make one that does!
