SECTION A A’
Existing bus shelters are subjected to unorganized overflowing crowd, which makes physical distancing a challenge.
SECTION B B’ Andheri bus depot is urbanised and hence acts as an influx for pedestrians. but due to the availability of transport vehicles and hawkers most of the crowd is stagnated.
A two way ramp is designed in a manner that incidentally divides the users.
Alternate level rise Collective implementation of queues and seating
Alternate level rise
Alternate seating arrangement.
Seating arrangement acting as a guide for organizing the queues in zig zag pattern, so as to maintain physical distance .The users at the forefront of the queue are provided with seatings whereas the rest of the queue occupies the space behind seating. this binary arrangement accomodates greater number of users within the shelter. Designated pockets for hawkers incorporated within the bus shelter.
Dedicated seatings for senior citizens for easy accessibility to bus
PLAN
SERVICES OF BUS TERMINUS Unorganized movement of users in existing crammed bus shelters
