TRAINER-IN-FORM (LAST 14 DAYS): D O’Meara (9 wins from 61 runners, 15%) runs STAR OF LADY M

WEIGHTWATCHER: STAR OF LADY M won off a handicap mark of 86, her rating is now down 9lb to 77.

LONGEST TRAVELLER: CLUEDO trained by H Candy, Wantage, 161 miles.

SLINGSBYTOO finished strongly when opening his account dropped to 5f for the first time at Catterick last month and, provided that they go an honest gallop here, a 3lb rise may not be enough to stop him in his tracks. Fortunate Star did well under the circumstances at Nottingham recently and he is feared most ahead of Star of Lady M.

Horse Welfare Comes First At Doncaster

At every race meeting at Doncaster our top priority is the safety and welfare of both horse and rider We have a dedicated team of highly qualified vets and doctors following the action at all times and a horse ambulance in attendance at every meeting.

Use of Screens

It is our policy to erect green screens around any horse requiring veterinary attention. This does NOT reflect the severity of any injury, but does help to provide a calm environment, in which the vet is better able to treat the horse.

Please do not assume the worst if you see screens erected around a fallen horse!

Children

In the interest of safety and security, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The stable runs JEFF KOONS today. LONGEST TRAVELLER: ALSHADHIAN trained by R Beckett, Kimpton Down, 212 miles.

MEASUREDTIME was a warm order prior to making a successful start at Kempton 6 months ago and, with the longer trip in his favour, he’s preferred to fellow winner Jeff Koons, who still looked green despite getting up late at Newmarket recently. BISHOP’S CROWN has been running consistently well and was clear of the rest when second in a maiden over this distance at Leicester in July, so he’s taken to open his account in first-time cheekpieces.
