Abandonment Policy
In the event of racing being abandoned, the following rules apply:
• Abandonment before completion of the 1st race – badge valid for the next race meeting or full refund
• Abandonment prior to completion of the 3rd race – 50% refund
• Abandonment thereafter – no refund
No refunds will be made on the day of racing
All refunds should be claimed in writing within 14 days of the abandoned meeting.
Please enclose your badge/s as proof of admission and send them to: Racecourse Office, Hereford Racecourse, Roman Road, Hereford HR4 9QU. Please PRINT your name clearly and send with the returned badges
Admission Badges
Racegoers are politely requested to ensure their badges are worn and to be clearly visible at all times If you have purchased an E-ticket, please ensure you have this with you at all times
Baby Changing Facilities
Baby changing facilities can be found in the main toilet block next to the raceday office to the left of the main entrance and in the Rusty Bridge Restaurant toilets Please ask a member of staff for details of a private breast feeding area, if required
Disabled Visitors
Forward parking is available for blue badge holders, stewards will direct you. For disabled visitors requiring a carer, the carer is admitted free of change There is a disabled viewing area accessible through Rusty Bridge for wheelchair users, and disabled toilets on site.
Dogs
Racegoers are not permitted to bring dogs onto the racecourse at any time during the raceday, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind and hearing dogs During hot weather, it should be remembered that Police and RSPCA officials reserve the right to force entry into any vehicle to release an animal if suffering
Emergency Procedures
Hereford Racecourse employs safety stewards. In the event of an emergency which requires evacuation a public announcement will be made and the stewards will direct you to a safe area.

Flash photography is not permitted at any time.
