Race Summary

Newcomer FOX MASTER makes plenty of appeal on paper, so he could be up to making a winning start for his top yard. Amy Santiago shaped well first time up at Thirsk in July and is expected to improve despite being off the track since, while Pub Club and Nwaira are other likely types on paper who require close market scrutiny.

Last year’s victor ATRAFAN is in good form so looks the way to go in a contest where many have question marks against them. Elisheva has her first run for David O’Meara so can’t be ruled out, while Golden Prosperity is weighted to have a say too.

Horse Welfare

Here at Newcastle Racecourse nothing matters more to us than looking after the horses that make us the North East’s Premier Racecourse We do everything in our power to ensure that we provide a racing surface of the highest quality and we take every conceivable care to minimise the chances of horses incurring any injury whilst here.
