Race Summary
GETAMAN returned to action with a solid second in a handicap chase at Warwick where he pulled well clear of the rest and, if able to reproduce form akin to that back over hurdles off a 7lb lower mark, he will surely go close. Next on the list is Getaway Tom, who shaped as though dropping back to this trip would be in his favour when fifth at Exeter Governor Green, who did the job well at Bangor last month, and handicap-debutant Imperial Sun are others to consider

TIMEFORM VIEW Bumper winner who ran to a fair level when runner-up on the second of 2 starts in maiden hurdles last spring Best effort since switched to handicaps when again finding just one too good at Stratford (18.7f, soft) latest and not without each-way hope TFRëëëêê BHA100

TIMEFORMVIEWWell-backed and duly left previous form well behind when scoring from the front at Bangor (16.7f, good) in ready fashion last month. This is more demanding up 7lb but he couldn’t be called exposed and should have a part to play TFRëëëêê BHA99

TIMEFORM VIEW Fairly useful Flat winner who boasts some decent bits and pieces of form in this sphere, including when fourth in a 9-runner Fakenham handicap (20f, good) 11 days ago. Drop back in trip no bad thing but more needed if he’s to open his account. TFRëëêêê BHA98

TIMEFORMVIEWRemains winless following 18 attempts overall but he was in the process of running a big race when hampered by a faller and unseating 2 out at Southwell (15.8f, good to soft). Claims if able to build on that off the same mark. TFRëëëêê BHA98

TIMEFORMVIEWSigns of ability in bumper/novice hurdles and, equipped with first-time cheekpieces, he produced his best effort yet when fifth in a big-field Exeter handicap (18.5f, good to soft) last month. Now 1lb lower and, with this drop back in trip a potentially good move, he’s one for the shortlist. TFRëëëëê BHA90

TIMEFORM VIEWLittle impact in a couple of bumpers and the story has been the same in maiden/novice hurdles. Not beyond the realms of possibility that he’ll be seen in a better light now handicapping but others preferred all the same TFRëëêêê BHA86

Race Summary
A few in with chances but CAN’T BEAT HISTORY has shaped up well on both outings in handicaps so, provided he can settle a touch better back down in trip, Henry Oliver’s charge is selected to open his account. Boomtime Banker won both her starts last season and she may well emerge as the main danger if ready to roll after 8 months off, with Rock On Tommy and Lighthouse Mill others worth considering.
