CAPPANANTY CON is a long time without a win but has bagged four successes here and signalled he is ready to go in again when runner-up at Chelmsford last time Sirius White is feared most on the back of his good recent C&D second, with Brighton scorer Diamond Cottage weighted to have a say too despite taking a 6lb rise

It’s interesting that Godolphin have stuck with 4-y-o gelding RAYAT and he looks the way to go on debut before any market clues One For The Frog and Al Baahy have races in them and have to be respected.

Admission

The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone and to remove any person from the racecourse, without assigning a reason for so doing and do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to persons or their property.

Veterinary Care

Horse welfare is a priority at Wolverhampton. At every meeting there are two specially qualified Equine vets appointed to look after the welfare of all the horses in action One vet is present at the start of each race and during the race follows the runners in a vehicle Horses can be attended to in the same time as the Paramedic Teams responsible for treating injured jockeys. The second vet follows the action from the stands and coordinates the required response to any incidents In addition, throughout the meeting a close check is kept on all horses, especially those returning after a race It is standard policy that in the event of a horse requiring veterinary treatment whilst on site, screens will be erected around the horse It is designed to afford the vet and the patient some privacy. Please do not assume the worst

Photography

Racegoers may take photographs for private use from within the enclosures Flash photography is not permitted at any time Press and commercial photographers may pre-arrange the necessary permission with the Secretary’s Office at least 7 days before racing Press and Official Photographers’ should refer to the current BHA Instructions.

LONGEST TRAVELLER: HUCKLEBERRY trained by C Wallis, Ardleigh, 177 miles.

WEDGEWOOD returned much improved from a five-month absence when scoring over C&D and a 3lb rise in the weights doesn’t look sufficient to prevent her from following up Miss Marianne chased home Tony Carroll’s filly that day and can again feature, with the handily-weighted Goose Rock also making some appeal Zebadaay is one to keep an eye on in the betting
