Approved to Collect Signatures for an Initiated Act The following are a list of ballot titles approved to gather signatures to appear on the 2012 ballot. The Attorney General’s approval to gather signatures is not an endorsement the ballot title. It is simply a judgement that the title is not misleading or ambiguous to its purpose. All ballot titles that wish to appear on the November 2012 ballot must gather a minimum of 78,133 signatures of registered Arkansas voters to be turned in to the Secretary of State no later than July 6, 2012. Opinion number: 2012‐015 Requestor: White, Jimmy Spokesperson, Sportsmen2010 Request for certification of the popular name and ballot title of a proposed amendment to Ark. Const.
