Cabaret whore
dying with dignitas - A true story
Comedy, original songs and a string of desperate divas
Last year, Chris Larner accompanied his chronically ill ex-wife to Switzerland’s Dignitas clinic. He came home with an empty wheelchair and a story to tell.
A tortured French chanteuse; a washed-up lounge crooner; a faded Broadway diva; and more are brought to life in polished character comedy and sparkling original songs, with music by Michael Roulston.
This moving, bittersweet show reflects on the circumstances, morality and humanity surrounding the journey. In a candid, poignant and sometimes comic performance, Chris explores both the profound personal implications and the wider ethical issues of assisted dying. tickets In association with Seabright Productions £9 Full Price and £7 Concessions
