The Cultural centre aims to recapture the innocence of a child, and their sincere curiosity to explore their surroundings. The same is transcend to adults as the project takes them through a journey stimulated by various design elements such as the pods, the tower etc.
The concept ‘Chrono-Link’ is derived from the work chronology which represents a sequence based on the passage of time. The link here refers to merging the childhood to adulthood by trying to relieve adults of all their stress in this environment

Many studies show that a room with view to nature has a higher patient recovery rate. Thus with the help of a cortyard based design all rooms overlook a green setting.

The concept chosen was oasis, that is a water body surrounded by greenry in a desert region. The idea ois to provide the customers with the same sense of relief and relaxation from their busy day as a desert traveller will feel on discovering an oasis. The color theme along with various elements such as the lamps, water feature, plants etc are inspired from an oasis to futher strengthen the idea.

The aim of the project is not just to create a library for the children but to create a space that can be their escape from the mundane everyday life, where they can spend time learning and exploring their creativity along with their friends.
The innovative design elemnts allows the users to interact with it differently thus immersing them in the design
Orignally the library was cramped and being used as a storeroom brainstorming for max space,adequate storage and sustainable furniture
Creating a propasal within budget,communicating with the MIMA team
Sourcing materials from various vendors, markets, performing quality checks
DAY1(out of 3) the material was bought to site and the work began
Sanding the walls and disinfecting the termite affected walls
Cleaned space,kept wooden shelves that were’nt infected bytermite for design
Painting walls white to brighten up the space, patterns for visual interest
On site shelving wasjoined stratecically by planks to create a seating niche
Modular multipurpose bookshelf, reused plastic cartons fastned by zip ties
