HEXBREAK3R
IGT Slots Used To Raise Funds
The casino gaming industry is so interesting. Here’s something I wasn’t aware of until I visited the 2022 National Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention (####). I’m sure all of our readers remember Hexbreaker by IGT. Love it or hate it, I think it’s a really solid game with a great theme! Well, IGT released Hexbreaker II and now Hexbreak3r (the third version of the game). And, IGT has made the game available for slot tournaments too!
In order to promote the newest incarnation and to showcase it on their slot tournament platform, IGT kicked off #### by hosting the annual Spirit of Sovereignty Slot Tournament in the Company’s booth. Participants played the Hexbreak3r tournament solution.
Former professional basketball player A.C. Green captured first place in the tournament, which had 14 participants and raised $24,000, including a $10,000 contribution from IGT. All proceeds went to support tribal scholarships and programming for Native youth through the Spirit of Sovereignty Fund, which was established in 2002 as the charitable arm of the National Indian Gaming Association.
“Hosting the annual Spirit of Sovereignty Slot Tournament in IGT’s #### booth is always a distinct honor and the ideal way to kick off such an important trade show,” said Nick Khin, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Gaming. “This year, the tournament was a platform to debut our Hexbreak3r Tournament solution and entertain our customers while raising funds that support Native youth.”
Isn't that really exciting? The casino gaming industry is full of surprises.
Have A Lucky Month! Alexandra
