The “go, go, go, keep going” of the traditionally recommended 30-minute daily workout has a new, shorter partner. “Short bouts always do as well, and sometimes better, than longer bouts,” says Glenn Gaesser, professor of exercise science and health promotion at Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions.
