This ergonomical chair is inspired from the form of a spider. Spider is one of the most popular in body structure with equal weight balance . And in chair we also do the same by distributing the weight among four legs. This chair is a unique form with modern design yet it breaks the orthodoxical structure of a chair.

Costermonger, coster, or costard is a street seller of fruit and vegetables, in London and other British towns. Costermongers were ubiquitous in mid-Victorian England, and some are still found in markets. As usual with street-sellers, they would use a loud sing-song cry or chant to attract attention. The costermonger’s cart might be stationary at a market stall, or mobile (horse-drawn or wheelbarrow). The term is derived from the words costard (a now extinct medieval variety of large, ribbed apple) and monger (seller)

Bowling refers to a series of sports or leisure activities in which a player rolls or throws a bowling ball towards a target. It is one of the major forms of throwing sports. In pin bowling variations, the target is usually to knock over pins at the end of a lane. When all the pins are knocked down on the first roll, this is a strike. In target variations, the aim is usually to get the ball as close to a mark as possible. The pin version of bowling is often played on a flat wooden or other synthetic surface (which can be oiled in different patterns for different techniques), while in target bowling, the surface may be grass, gravel or a synthetic surface. The most common types of pin bowling include ten-pin, nine-pin, candlepin, duckpin and five-pin bowling, while in target bowling, bowls, skittles, kegel, bocce, carpet bowls, pĂŠtanque, and boules, both indoor and outdoor varieties are popular.

Design concept-A soap dispenser is and object necessary and useful in everyday human life in washroom accessories.. The main characteristics of such an object is only its functionality. But modern design world have given it a new meaning and just apart from being functional should be also designer and different to look at. The soap dispenser that I had de- signed is inspired from the canine teeth of lion. Keeping in thought modern trends and choices , I have designed it in minimal outlook. I have used sandstone as the main material. The upper portion is made of steel. The design is minimal , simple, trendy compliments the modern bathrooms. The shape is simple curvy structure with slim lined szooth curve and gradual metamorphic change of a lion’s canine teeth. A part of the object is cut out in order to provide a heavy yet a slim line minimal structure.

INSTALLATION FOR DELHI EXHIBITION CENTER (EAST -ART FESTIVAL ) An unseen tunnel inside a displaced proletarian, it is a combination of the physical experiential object and subtle performative appearance. We as collaborator also thinking that this display is a code of protest tool to show the critical side of our moral ignorance, especially for sustainable life. We strongly believe that over the year we hide our mind from the critical reality and same time made it so uninteresting the discourse for the sake of capital art.

URBANSCAPE Redefining urban interstitial spaces
What’s best for the left-over spaces from our criss-crossing cities’ infrastructures? ‘Urbanscape’ is the manifestation of the built environment of cities. It not only refers to the configuration of built forms but also the elements that define interstitial spaces. It represents physical built environment of our city. However, what we see today is the progression of ever-increasing skyscrapers that mark the skyscape of a city, overpowering smaller elements. This plays a major role in defining urban landscape.

DESIGN BRIEF
Mumbai
- the name gives a flash of busy cosmopolitan city with fast moving lifestyle. In the midst of Mumbai, every person who steps into the city starts rushing and competing with the others to prove themselves the best . The city starts to run with the crack of the dawn and doesn’t sleep till midnight. Among all these, every person needs themselves a time to relax and sit back and spare some moments with himself or the near ones. Taking into consideration of all these situations, we have designed a seater, which provides a psychological and emotional linking to the pedestrians by giving a moment of joy, fun , and relaxation to think about something out of the box at the very first glance. This seater will be placed alongside the the well known seashore Marine Line, of Mumbai city. People come here to get a fresh air on weekends and to spend some time for relaxation. It is a well known public area in Mumbai witnessing people who come in search of some fun and change of mood. The design – the lips dramatically gives a fun , funky , and interesting approach with the very first look and also complements the urban context of the city. The concept behind the lips, was to attract and bring dramatic relations to the pedestrians, it certainly will be able bring emotional changes to passerby of any age background. Apart from these just designing a comfortable design, its different approach to look up at the complements with the surroundings giving all, a deviation from the everyday’s busy, tough life of Mumbai. The softness of lips gives a cozy outlook and gives different definition to the blissful visual of the sea alongside.

A tipi also teepee is a cone-shaped tent, traditionally made of animal skins upon wooden poles. A tipi is distinguished from other conical tents by the smoke flaps at the top of the structure. Historically, the tipi was used by Indigenous people of the Plains in the Great Plains and Canadian Prairies of North America, as well as by indigenous peoples of northern Europe and Asia under other names. Tipi lodges are still in use by these peoples, though now primarily for ceremonial purposes.

The side table also carries a fusion of wood and resin. The folded twisted character of the table is also inspired from the oldest pine tree. The entire wood form depicts the character of the tree. The table top is made of resin in which an age old patachitra is preserved .The table here also provides a memory of an age old craft. To keep the continuity the table stand also is made of fusion of wood and resin.
TABLE TOP
The chair and more precisely a relaxing chair is basically designed with inspiration from a tree Bristoclone pine , the oldest tree in the world. The chair here showcases a pinch of nature with age old flavor of the twisted character of a tree. The back left stand of the tree has a unique elongated extension resembling the twist of the pine tree. Apart from being inspired from the tree the back portion of the chair is made of broken wooden character a part of which is filled up with resin that preserves a age old craft inside it – the “Patachitra of Orissa. I chose to work with this inspiration because the trend board speaks of memorial or age old memories, and somewhere in my design the chair reminds us of the oldest tree and even a very old craft that once was started years ago to depict the mythological stories .
CHAIR BACK REST In the product range here the chair being a relaxing chair is accompanied by a ottoman or leg rest which when used after sitting gives a relaxing posture to the body helping to rest the leg. In order to provide comfort the portion where the leg is going to rest is padded with leather. Some parts of the ottoman is also molded with resin in order to bring a continuation with the chair and also provide a unique flavor.
FINAL PRODUCT
DESIGN BRIEF This collection is inspired from the age old craft “Patachitra from Orissa. The collection includes a chair , a table and an ottoman. Here the craft is showcased primarily on the back of the chair and the table top. The main reason behind using wood as the primary material is as wood being a natural material and one of the most oldest form of material that are being used for ages to construct any structure. And wood also complements any kind of craft used along with it. The raisin too is a material that we obtain from tree extracts and being transparent the patachitra can well be viewed through it keeping its traditional beauty intact.
