A-State is affordable with competitive tuition rates among peer schools in the state as well as other regional institutions. A-State offers plenty of Institutional and Privately Funded Scholarships. In addition, we have scholarships for various activities on campus. So, whether you play in the band, work for student media, like to debate issues or play a sport, A-State offers lots of opportunities for future Red Wolves. Just contact the department of interest for more information. A-State can also help qualifying students gain access to a college education by offsetting their university housing costs with the 870 Housing Plan. *

HOUSING PLAN

* Students who have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of zero on the FAFSA qualify for the 870 Housing Plan. The 870 Housing Plan awards $3,000 annually ($1,500 fall and $1,500 spring) toward A-State on-campus housing in one of our traditional-style resident living areas. To be eligible, a student must be a U.S. citizen, 2023 high school senior, and admitted to A-State before 7/1/2023. A verified zero EFC (Expected Family Contribution) from 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be determined. Students must live on campus. The award may be renewed up to three additional years as long as student successfully completes 12 A-State hours per semester and has a verified Zero EFC each academic year.
