We are building an archive of wisdom. The first of its kind, this archive draws upon the knowledge and experiences of one of America’s most cherished resources – our police chaplains. The Police Chaplain Project is a 10 year initiative to digitally preserve the words and wisdom of America's police chaplains. Featuring some of the most revered and accomplished police chaplains of the past 50 years, this ever expanding video archive preserves ideas and knowledge that lead to learning, action, and positive change.
Preserving Wisdom for Future Generations In 2008 we began assembling content for the Police Chaplain Project, a digital archive dedicated to preserving for future generations the wisdom of America’s police chaplains. The footage also provides source material for a range of educational programs that support the law enforcement community, including police administrators, chaplains and a fallen officer’s family and friends.
Turning Chaplains into Educators You can find this content at ChaplainUSA.org, a site dedicated to turning chaplains into educators by making the Police Chaplain Project’s extensive archive more easily accessible to those impacted by a law enforcement crisis. As we continue to gather and archive oral history interviews from police chaplains, we urge you to return often to ChaplainUSA.org. We think you will find here practical tools for confronting the law enforcement community's two most powerful and permanent conditions – crisis & spiritual renewal.
