Don’t have a lot of money for an expensive food production kitchen. Well, a Commercial Kitchen is just what you need. What is a Commercial Kitchen you might ask? Well Glad you asked future food entrepreneur. Commercial kitchens are licensed and insured kitchens that are ready and able for a food producer to use and create food items for customer and commercial purchasing. They charge very reasonable rates for monthly and hours use of the kitchen. Because the commercial kitchen is insured and properly inspected you can be assured your food product will be certified by state, federal and local food production requirements. Also, getting your own business food insurance is easier when you work out of a commercial kitchen, since the kitchen has passed various inspection procedures and laws. So how do you get started? ry d n a L e ac r G f e h C ce a r G f o of Taste My name is Grace Landry Born and raised all over Uptown I love being an Aquarius Single with no kids Diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer 5.10.2021 Love to laugh, shoot pool, talk trash, like grilling, traveling when able, just overall fun, and Mardi Gras is fave holiday 504 Soul Food Groove was honored and grateful for the Professional Chef and Business interview with Grace Landry of Taste of Grace. Listen to her awesome courageous life and advice to being successful and just overall awesomeness. So please reach out for a great caterer or just reach out to say words of encouragement for this powerful , courageous , amazing chef. "What makes you love what you do?' Grace's Response-My passion for Catering and Personal Chef services is the freedom to work whenever you choose... I am not held to service in a manner that a restaurant is and that alone was most appealing... The most difficult part about starting up for me was the anxiety that comes along with wondering if you're good enough... New Orleans is a foodie capital, with amazing home and restaurant chefs... Also, currently, with cancer I am not as quick and I'm in pain... .I feel my food is different and/or special because my flavors are traveled and love is sprinkled generously .. I think customers need to try my food because my flavor is my own and most of everyone whose had my dishes really enjoy them... The advice I would give to anyone wanting to get into the business of catering and/or personal chef services is to just do it... Try it from your home and then expand from there... Don't be discouraged, business will come via word of mouth and make sure you have a social media presence... BIGBLACK BRUNCH Business Profile Black Event , Promotion & Marketing at its Best
Charlie W. Coleman, III | Creator Celeste Enterprise, LLC BigBlackBrunch NOLA 504.388.6869 Join us for BigBlackBrunch NOLA 1. How , Why and Who /Whom started or decided to develop this cool event?' During COVID-19 our team noticed the disparities that Black Owned Businesses faced due to the lack of a customer base or funding. We also identified people who were heavily relying on companies such as Amazon to fill everyday household needs. Our team brainstormed and we initially landed on the concept of a virtual block party. In this iteration, we hosted Black Owned Brands through the United States in a virtual platform. We invited guests to log into our virtual platform and shop our highlighted brands. Our goal was to expose Black Owned Businesses to consumers who are interested in, "buying black." As we continue to navigate through COVID-19, we decided to expand our virtual platform to an in-person event. Thus, the creation of the BigBlackBrunch. 2. Can you tell us if food vendors are allowed ? How can an interested vendor get in contact or qualify? Yes, we want to expose the community to all product and service based Black Owned Businesses. Any brands interested in joining our network can always follow our social media @bigblackbrunchnola or sending us an email info@bigblackbrunchnola.com 3. How do you create fun themes and ideas for your brunches? Our entire team is composed of members who have roots in New Orleans. A few of us grew up in New Orleans and the rest of us went to college in New Orleans. New Orleans has a special place in all of our hearts. When we brainstorm, we first think of the best possible ways to highlight the group of businesses we are partnering with. Next, we try to incorporate fun and exciting elements to enable a diverse and exciting shopping experience. 4. How do readers contact you for more information and tickets? Upcoming events? We encourage readers and businesses alike to follow our social media @bigblackbrunchnola or send us an email regarding any inquiries: info@bigblackbrunchnola.com Our next BigBlackBrunch will be hosted in early April, near Mother's Day.
