The RIVER LEGACY FOUNDATION’S FALL FESTIVAL is set for Oct. 9 at the River Legacy Living Science Center (703 N.W. Green Oaks Blvd.). The activities will run from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and will include a variety of games, crafts and more. The Fall Festival is one of River Legacy Foundation’s annual fundraisers to support environmental education at River Legacy Living Science Center and River Legacy Park. This family friendly fall festival combines the best of two popular local events from the past: After Dark in the Park and the City’s Eco-Fest.

SYMPHONY ARLINGTON will present four “Mozart con Amore” concerts over the next four months, beginning with an Oct. 14 performance featuring pianist Lindsay Garritson at Arlington Music Hall (224 N. Center St.) . The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. The October event will feature a number of important historical works by Mozart, including “Overture to Lucio Silla,” “Piano Concerto No. 17,” and “Symphony No. 41 (Jupiter).
