An Extension to A Terrace This project focuses on proposing an extension to the Architectural Association’s existing building framework. The one month task includes surveying the exisiting, space analysis, rendering a techincal reality and testing by building design systems. As a result, an adaptable space was made on an underused terrace, with movable walls.

The Ramen Water Gather This project was a collaboration between twenty students in a village called Koshikura, in Nigata, Japan under Shin Egashira. All the design work and sourcing of materials was done by the students, along with living and cooking in groups. A ruined old water tap was made into an onsen inspired public area with a pond, a platform, a ramen channel and an improved sink to fit watermelons. Everyhting was made by us on-site in one month, including the taps, sink and joinery.

A Choix Grid This project focuses on imagining a Student Accomodation + University in the Bois de Vincennes, Paris. The accomodation is for 20000 individuals, with consideration of the surroundings and details of student living. I propose an experimental agricultural university, where two levels dictate the separation of the university and living.

Radio + Mattress = The Lost Trail The project explores the idea of homes of objects and whether these objects would make for a more engaged architectural experience in a new setting. The thread of forgotten and rediscovered ties the pages of the chapters of this plot. The interface of a radio and mattress, and the slicing of an essential bridge from Venice to London encourages a further displacement of a program to the already lost site of Mill Hill East. The London Transport’s Lost and Found Office, finds it’s extensive collection hidden within this trail. The placement of the office and elements into this site turns the trail into an experience.
