We’ve all heard about how eating a balanced diet of wholesome food can help keep one healthy. However, apart from using organic and natural ingredients prepared in a way that doesn’t add a lot of saturated fats and sodium there’s a way to boost the nutrient content of dishes while improving the flavor of the dish–herbs and spices! And most of these are easy recipes that you can make at home anytime. Creating spicy and healthy food recipes for the family can be said safely that you’re on your way to a healthy lifestyle. Since I love beef recipes, I’m very happy to know that there’s a recipe that fits in to my preferences: Hot N' Spicy Beef Burgers Ingredients
1 lb Ground Beef (85% lean) 1 1/2 ts Jalapeno Peppers , chopped 1/2 ts Ground Cumin 1/2 ts Salt 1/8 ts Pepper 1/4 c Monterey Jack Cheese /shredded (about 1 oz.) 4 sl Tomato 4 ea Hamburger Buns
Directions Combine ground beef, jalapeno peppers, cumin, salt and pepper; mix lightly but thoroughly. Divide beef mixture into 4 equal portions; shape into 1/2 inch thick patties, 4 inches in diameter. Place patties on grid over medium coals. grill 7 to 9 minutes, turning once. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon cheese on each burger 1 minute before end of cooking time. Place tomato slice on bun bottom; top each with grilled burger and cover with roll top.
