By way of summary, Arnolds Office Furniture, founded in 1929 and based in Bridgeport, PA, is in the business of directly importing and exclusively distributing the Sunline brand of furniture products. With commerce severely slowing, the office furniture business dwindled in recent weeks. As a result, we initially started our PPE venture in support of our friends, family, community, the country and our customers who are in critical need of PPEs during the COVID-19 pandemic. We also wanted to keep our people employed. We then decided to pivot to use our importing expertise and supply chain connections to bring in these desperately needed PPE supplies. SUNLINE Supply was formed to distribute: KN95 Masks, Disposable Face Masks, Face Shields, Protective Goggles, Disposable Stethoscopes, Nitrile and PVC Gloves, Surgical Gowns, Industrial and Medical Isolation Suits, Protective Suits, Caps, and Shoe Covers.

Who is SUNLINE Supply? We are a large office furniture distributor by nature (since 1929) but have been a trusted importer for many years. This is what we do, full-time. We have many manufacturing and distributing ties in China – with whom we work with daily for all our furniture importing. These connections have allowed us to use our resources and switch our focus from importing office furniture to importing what’s desperately needed now: personal protective equipment (PPE). We are experts at importing/international logistics and have pivoted all our resources to do this properly. Why choose and trust SUNLINE with your PPE needs? Every single one of our factories is FDA approved for all our PPE product offerings. We have personally visited the factories, touched the physical product samples, and compared dozens of brands. As a result, we are only using and offering the highest quality products that are approved by FDA and on the EUA. In addition to sourcing the highest quality PPE, we also recently received our FDA certification to do this properly (operator number: 10066657). We are very transparent with our clients – our products are FDA approved, we are FDA approved – but are currently importing all PPE under industrial use, as the supply chain regulations change daily and the government has been seizing millions of “medical” masks in China due to incorrect documentation from unapproved Chinese factories (unlike our factories, which are approved). Sunline has a full importing, logistics and delivery team in the USA, as well as employees in mainland China. We are working around the clock and have spent thousands of man hours in the past few weeks here, and in China, to make sure this is done the right way, so we can guarantee our clients good quality products and timely delivery within 2.5 weeks from time of deposit.

How does our pricing and ordering process work? At current, with the high demand, we place orders with our factories upon receipt of customer orders. Once we receive your order, our factories are prepared to expedite production and shipping via air freight for arrival to the U.S. within two and a half to four weeks. Order tracking information and accelerated, economical delivery method within the United States is communicated promptly to our clients. Generally, items using airfreight are priced at a higher cost, as shipping via air is quicker therefore more expensive, and items shipping via sea containers are priced at a lower cost, as the lead time for shipping via sea is longer and less expensive. Our PPE pricing includes pricing tiers offering volume-based discounts. Currently, we are only able to hold prices for 24 hours. During these challenging times, due to extremely high demand and shipping freight capacities, our factories and carriers are impacted by the costs of raw materials, labor availability and fuel which, in turn, affects our pricing. We will provide formal quotations upon request that will reflect any price adjustments (higher and lower). What should you be screening as a consumer? There are hundreds of thousands of factories in China currently selling and exporting PPE, but few who do it the right way. This is a key distinction in understanding how to import these products safely, which Sunline provides with our full product documentation and proper labeling. It is critical that the interior labels on all items are properly displayed as well, or China will seize the product. Your PPE supplier should be able to provide proper labeling for all products sourced, which Sunline does. The key to successfully importing quality products is to work with quality factories. These factories will already have quality levels in place for the products, which will avoid issues from the beginning. We are diligent about quality here, and for every twenty factories we vet, we approve one. Pricing is changing every day or two right now, so just be careful (regardless of who you choose) on 1) dragging your feet, or you will pay more and lose your place in production line and air space, and 2) making sure they understand all of these factors and have all of the proper documentation lined up. 6 |
