Children’s letters to Santa can be dropped in the North Pole mailbox at the Cherokee County Recreation Center in Woodstock. Santa personally will reply to each letter and mail it back to your child from the North Pole on Dec. 12. The 26th annual city of Woodstock Christmas Jubilee and Parade of Lights starts at 5:30 p.m. at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road and travels down Main Street to Sam’s Club on Highway 92. The Service League of Cherokee County will hold the 19th annual Reindeer Run for the Children 5K and 1-mile Fun Run at Etowah River Park in Canton. Swim With the Grinch will be from 9-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-noon at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center in Canton; $15 per child. Join the Wreaths Across America Ceremony and lay wreaths at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
