Cherokee Recreation and Parks’ second indoor recreation center has opened at 7345 Cumming Highway in Veterans Park. The L.B. “Buzz” Ahrens Recreation Center, nicknamed “The Buzz,” is 30,000 square feet and has full- and youth-size basketball courts and a rock-climbing wall, as well as an aerobics and dance studio, open fitness area and two classrooms. What’s Closing

The Canton Marketplace Bed Bath and Beyond store, at 1810 Cumming Highway, is one of 149 stores being closed, according to a recent announcement by the parent company. Sales are taking place until the anticipated closing date of mid-April.
