Benidorm Sports park Benidorm city is known for its intense vertical growth, that has created a continuous landscape of skyscrapers. This fact, in addition of it´s excellent weather conditions, attracts tourists during all the year. The project is a sports park that includes football, hockey and volleyball fields and athletic tracks. The location covers a green area of 29.5 hectares located 500m from Poniente beach, with many trees and surrounded by tall buildings. The site is understood as a series of ribbons which are operated by a geometrical logic This generates surfaces allowing activities to respond to the natural shape of the place. This project achieves a horizontal form in contrast with the verticality that predominates in Benidorm.

GandĂa Maritime Port The port of Gandia is a place of great importance for the city because it is located in a consolidated urban zone, functioning as a link between the old town and the beach coastline. The intervention involves the remodeling of the promenade, the management of leisure and service areas, an auditorium with 900 seats and a new marina Club.
ZOOM IN
This stage proposes the building like a folded ribbon, which allows to colonize both shore and water, releasing the ground floor for public spaces and visuals of the port. The tree planting design is intended to lead tourists from the waterfront to a great urban plaza over the water, proposed as a seam between the two shores of the harbor.

Albufera 2112 MEDITERRANEAN SEA
The object of study, 350km2 of land and water in a triangle shape, whose north apex is the city of Valencia, constitutes not only a cultural reference for the entire region, but a unique natural setting in Europe where more than one million people live, work and travel around. The future of this unique lagoon area, which is an empty mirror of the city of Valencia, is at stake in the coming years, this provides an opportunity to influence new ways of development and organization for this territory.
MASTER PLAN
Altamira Cave is a natural cavity in the rock where vestiges of one of the most important pictorial art cycles of prehistory are preserved. In 1917, it was opened for the public and in 1924 was declared National Monument, which caused a considerably increase in the number of visitors. The many people who came to the cave endangered its microclimate and paintings conservation. In 1977 the cave was closed to the public to finally be reopened in 1982 but allowing access only to a restricted number of visitors per day. The large number of people who wanted to see the cave and the long waiting to access it (more than a year) showed the need to build a replica which could absorb this demand and allow the preservation of the original.
CONCEPTUAL
REFERENCE:
ALTAMIRA
CAVE
A replica of the Altamira cave and a museum were built next to the original cave in 2001.
On this basis, we propose the creation of another water body, in which activities that might be harmful for the conservation of La Albufera can take place, giving support for the demographic, economic and social development.

GENERAL ALBUFERA VIEW FROM MOUNT CULLERA
The conservation problems have led the Albufera Natural Park to its progressive deterioration, decreasing the lagoon extention and increasing pollution and natural species extinction. From acknowledge this problem arises the idea of creating a replica of the lag oon, based on a number of existing and available water sources.
YEAR 2050
The proposed intervention seeks to recover and strengthen the past economic models and uses of La Albufera, while proposing new activities that complement existing ones and create a more attractive area. By creating a new lagoon for fish farming, water sports, marina club, biofuel plants, parks and urban plazas, the intervention area becomes a scientific research center which converts Sueca city in a new centrality, developing and enhancing the surrounding urban centers.

Models A r c h i t e c t u r a l The main objective of this workshop was to build a formal prototype in order to explore the superficial and spatial posibilities of ribbon geometric systems. The prototype was developed to reproduce the topological abilities of ribbons, namely, continuous surfaces which are capable of torque, bending up and down, twist, change its direction and width. To illustrate the surface I used a series of wires with stoppers on either side that enabled the model to adapt to changes in width and still function as a system. This allowed me to explore various configurations. To test its usefulness as a design tool, I decided to make a final model from the prototype, taking from it the necessary measures and surfaces curvatures.

FULL HOUSE is a prototype of social housing that has been designed as a comprehensive solution to the problem of housing shortage in Ecuador, facing the threat that climate change represent. The project has been proposed from the flexibility, comfort and sustainability, it seeks to provide users of alternatives that meet the needs of every family and budget, proposing since the first stage spaces that improve the quality of life and which articulates the future growth and change in housing units.
Central a la concepciĂłn de esta propuesta se encuentran las condiciones de sustentabilidad en los materiales y mĂŠtodos constructivos requeridas para hacer frente a las cosecuencias reales del cambio climĂĄtico en Ecuador.

Thing-o-matic MakerBot MK7 assembling and 3D printing
RHINO Model
In January 2012 in Barcelona I participated in a personal fabrication workshop. We assembled a MakerBot Thing-o-matic with MK7 extruder from scratch, from the electronics and parts the manufacturer sent us. This robot is an open source 3D printer, whose size permits to place it on a desk. It extrudes ABS or PLA 1.7mm plastic filament with a resolution of 0.3mm in a print area of 96 x 108 x 115mm. We set the X, Y and Z axis with their motors into the housing panels (made with a laser cutter), then we assembled the extruder engine (MK7), solder electronic boards and components, in a group of about 10 people during two weekends in SEED studio. Once it was perfectly functional we tested various RHINO modeled objects printed through ReplicatorG software.

S u i t e This space was a playroom, workshop, office and architecture studio before becoming this 42 sqm little suite. We built a bathroom and a small kitchen was fitted in. The redesign included all the furniture and decoration, the construction direction and the full drawings and details. Despite its size, function resolution allows the different activities carried out in a house to happen simultaneously but in rather specific places, which allowed us to live comfortably in it..

This office building has 12 floors and 4 basements in 11270 sqm of construction and was completed in april 2008 in Quito, Ecuador. The project was designed by RVC Arquitectos Consultores CL. As Project coordinator, I was responsible for the architectural and interior design.
Alisal de Orellana Office building
I was also in charge as architectural construction manager and coordinator of specialist consultants. All construction details were designed by me, glass supporting systems, doors, railings, ceilings and flooring, as well as complete technical documentation and management of legal ballots.

The main design problem that had to be overcome was to create an attractive facade avoiding at the same time any possible view of the inside of the neighboring property, an embassy. For security reasons the City Council imposed this restriction, making it a condition for the building legalization.

The ABC building houses a commercial space, 12 office floors and 4 basements in 11011 sqm of construction, and was completed in june 2009 in Quito, Ecuador. The project was designed by RVC Arquitectos Consultores CL. As Project Coordinator, I was responsible for the complete project development, handling architectural direction, consultants coordination and also participated in architectural design. I prepared all construction details, full technical documentation and managed schedules of legalization process.

During development of the ABC building, I also comissioned the public areas design including interiors, ceilings, doors and railings, as well as floor coverings. We made special emphasis on the combination of technologies in crystals supporting systems to achieve a contemporary formal speech.

Object design Accesories & fourniture
GRUS WATCH DISPLAY Ten years ago, I started testing the performance of shapes and formal systems in smaller objects with the final purpouse of applying them to architecture. First it begun with handmade paper lamps, several of them failed but lots still exist. After trying over and over, I came out with new technics and designs which later turned in various wood models, improving my knowledge of power tools. When I discovered the elegance of jewelry, immediatly thought in rings as the ultimate experimental object. This time, with higher technology tools as 3D modeling and rendering I made a couple of designs keeping in mind that jewels has a greater lifetime than lamps. This helped me to approach to the idea of design persistence in time, a step further to architectural design. Nowadays I am involved in some furniture design projects and digital manufacturing appears as the most advanced tool for prototyping and even for final production. Regardless of technology acquaintance, I consider object design as an excelent exercise for experimentation and creativity.
