About the Philips Museum The Philips Museum is located in the heart of Eindhoven, where Gerard Philips produced his first light bulbs in 1891. The museum takes visitors on a tour of the company's rich history. You get to see how Philips constantly reinvents itself and how its innovative technology plays an important role in social changes. First with electric light and later on with radio, television and the dawn of the digital age. These days, Philips stands at the forefront of major innovations in the healthcare sector. As ever, the company's goal is to improve people's lives.
Activities and tours The Philips Museum offers various tours. Such as Mission Eureka. An interactive game about more than 100 years’ worth of Philips inventions for families with children aged eight and over. You work together to solve eight challenges with the help of an iPad. Children aged four and over can go on a treasure hunt through the museum to look for hidden images with a UV flashlight.
