Weathering the storm in what seems like the inside of a snow globe….

If it isn’t just the genetics and management that make the bull- if environment plays a large factor… we can attest these bulls are tough. Like our fellow producers these yearlings have endured one of the most frigid, blizzard filled winters we can remember. For about a week around Christmas it was impossible to feed, so these bulls were supplemented on what prairie hay we could get to them while we carved a path and cleared drifts to get them their typical ration.

Despite adverse conditions for growth these bulls still managed to convert feed to pounds and look good doing it. Overall this is likely one of the easiest fleshing, soundest structured group of bulls we’ve presented in a long time. It isn’t uncommon for our family to feel our bulls are better each year, but then again, we are committed to remaining where the top begins in SimGenetics… it’s our goal to help you up your bottom line by utilizing our cattle.

Full of young exciting herd sire groups these yearlings offer the newest advances in genetics. We believe these cattle have the potential to progress a cowherd. Their condition is ideal for hard work- these bulls are as anxious as we are for green grass and turn out.
