Meet Artist

Vasilisa is a Russian artist and presently working as Arts & Crafts Teacher in the Russian Music Centre, Dubai since 2005. At the age of 42, Vasilisa did Aikido –Shodan black belt in 2019 with an attitude of fighter. Her subject of artworks is always appreciated and she won the 2nd prize in the International Arts contest on the occasion of International Women’s day in Dubai. The University Diploma with distinction (M.A. Arts & Crafts), and 20+ years of teaching arts is her background. Some of her paintings are in private collections from Moscow to London and from Kyev to Dubai. She has experimented with media and canvas – from oil to tempera and then to aquarelle and back to oil.
