Preparation & Presentation The artist will be responsible for the appropriate presentation of the work at the cost to the artist only. Art at the Heart will arrange at their cost for the presentation of the artist state- ment in the exhibition space alongside the artist’s exhibition. All artwork will be hung on D-rings and these should be provided and fixed onto the artwork by the artist. The best D-rings are those with double screw holes attach to the back of the frame. Most frames under 75cm width only require 1 D-ring attached to the exact centre of the top of the frame and inverted so that the ring falls below the screw holes - this ensures the hook is hidden from view. Frames above 75cm width should ideally have 2 D-rings attached to the sides of the frame. Please see the attached sketch below.

3/4 up

75 cm or under x 1 central D ring

75 cm or above, 2 x D rings facing upwards either side

Please note: It is possible to hang from string or wire attached across the back of the frame however this is a less advisable and secure method to use. In addition, please ensure all artwork is corrected labelled: Name/Title/Price. This should be on a tied label to the back of the frame so we can easily indentify it when it’s hanging on the wall and need to place captions. Alternatively; please provide a thumbnail print of images and titles for our reference.
