In addition to these familiar brands, they also offer many exclusive brands including DMN and Semsem. With a beautiful array of evening gowns, footwear, and accessories; Fivestory has made a name for itself in being the place for all of your fashion needs.

Karen Murray was an executive and CEO in the fashion industry for over 40 years. She began her career in menswear, then gravitating to women’s fashion, licensing, and brand management. She worked at companies including Liz Claiborne, VF Corporation, Nautica, and most recently, the CEO of a brand management company that owns brands including Martha Stewart and Jessica Simpson.

As an avid collector of Vintage fashions her entire life, Karen Murray pioneered the Fivestory stores with a vast assortment of preloved fashions and accessories, carrying rare and coveted pieces from designer brands including Chanel, Gucci, YSL, and Pucci.

While navigating all facets of the apparel business, and continuously outfitting business partners and friends, Karen always dreamed of owning her own store. Now, as she oversees three elevated and curated store locations, ecommerce, and buying, Karen enjoys working with customers most. She loves building relationships and blending her vision with her customers’ needs and wants. Service continues to be the core of the Fivestory business model and Karen along with her dedicated sales teams, take great pride in knowing that customers receive the absolute best when they visit any store. She loves to put together looks that may be a stretch from a fashion point of view but when women walk out of the dressing room, delighted by the way they look, they realize the magic of Fivestory.

Today, Fivestory caters to local customers and tourists. Many customers shop in all three locations throughout the year; winters in Palm Beach, spring and fall in New York City and summer in Southampton. “I enjoy seeing my customers year-round and curate each store accordingly!” said Murray from her store in Palm Beach.
