What is Art by Alyssa? EVERY PRODUCT IN THE ART BY ALYSSA LINE STARTED OUT AS AN ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING! After a decade of working in the brick & mortar retail industry, I decided to become my own boss. I love everything about retail, and I couldn’t be more excited to spend this part of my life approaching it from the other side. Art by Alyssa officially launched in the spring of 2010. Before that, I had spent my first three years out of art school reproducing my paintings on gift products to sell at local craft fairs and at the gift shop I was managing full time. By 2011, running Art by Alyssa was taking over and I knew it was time to quit my day job and take Art by Alyssa to the next level. I paint, produce, package and ship all from my sunny studio in Beverly, Massachusetts.
