I am so thankfull for the oppertunitues that I have been given in just these short few months of 2 0 1 7 ACM is a creative digital magazine founded by myself, Caroline Japal. Although I found this magazine, I by no means take credit for all the magic that has happened in these pages. Without all these creative pineers I am surouded by I would probably not be writing to you all right now. This issue will focus on those people and their idividual art making skills. A big portion of this issue is based on inspiring us artists and our readers. I hope this magazine will be inspiring to you and a look behind the scenes of what us artists are really up to.

_Issue 01_NOAH HINTON NOAH HINTON is a Tuscaloosa, AL based photographer that at a young age was able to find and pursue his God given talent of photography. While worling with a wide variety of people in many places, Noah has made a name for himself and established his own business, Noah Hinton Photography. It is such a pleasure to know Noah and get to work with him.

Noah Hinton: The thing that made me pursue my passion was a calling I had felt from the Lord. Day by day, I am always wanting and striving to fulfill His purpose and plan for my life, whether that be by encouraging someone I felt lead to or by doing things He asks of me.

_Issue 01_NATALIE RYE Growing up in Atlanta I was immediately submerged into the culture of fashion. My mom worked as an interior designer for several years, so as a child I spent my afternoons running through fabric stores and seeing the life of the city. As a child school came hard for me. I did not enjoy the idea of learning or even going to school. The only time I found joy in the class room is when it came to art. Art class was full of color and creation and never once did I feel like my mind was limited to an idea. This is when I first started my passion for drawing dresses. I would draw dresses for my teachers, family, and friends. Any chance to make something new I took it. By the time I got to middle school I had my mind made up, I am going to become a Designer! This is something I have stuck with through the years. The idea that keeps me going. Being a designer is my passion and dreams in life.

"WHAT DOES THE WORLD NEED?"

Searching for inspiration is not hard. When first thinking of this idea I always thought, it would be challenging. Inspiration is all around us, the challenging part is slowing down to find it. I find my inspiration a lot of times when I am with myself in my quite moments. I always ask myself the same question, What does the world need? This question often strikes a movement inside of me. This is the same question I asked myself when coming up with the concept Destroy Your Reality, This was a movement I felt in the world at the time 56

that needed to change. Everyone around us was pushing the limits for the next spot light, who could be bigger or better? Was this our purpose that we were meant for? The question stuck with me. My collection Destroy Your Reality was based off a lot of research along with feelings I was trying to express at that time in my life. As a designer, I am always looking for my next move. Something that will set me apart from others but not over the edge. I want to be relartconceptmagazine

57

_Issue 01_NATALIE RYE evant, relate to my customer, but never boring. DYR focused on the idea of limits. How far can you go with something before you cross the line. Flatliners, a movie from the 1990's by Joel Schumacher, provided me some inspiration. This suspense thriller is about a group of students that experiment with the idea of confronting the point of death without dying. That sounds kind of freaky that something like that would inspire my designs, but the same thought process goes through my mind. Where is that line? The one that if you cross it, you've gone too far. Something can be a great design, climaxed, but if you add one more detail or make the slightest adjustment in the wrong direction, it's over - done. Finding that mountain top point is critical to being GREAT! The same creative principle exists is other arenas. For example, a speaker for a movement can go too far with their language and tank the efforts of what might have been a great cause. It's really evident in the music industry. I've studied the creative lives of several artists: Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Prince, Jimmy Hendrix, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, and the list goes on. These artists where a huge success but their lives ended far too early because they pushed beyond their climax, their pivotal point, their mountain top. I sometimes wonder if they knew their boundaries ... and this type of daydreaming often makes me design and redesign, with what my instructors call a perfectionist attitude, to get things just right. My collection used non-traditional textures and compositions with classic silhouettes. DYR collection is for the woman that wishes to stand out in a crowd by causing others to sneak a second glance while still allowing her to blend in with elegance.

_Issue 01_STYLEBONE FUZE

StyleBone Fuze started as something so very simple, a girl looking to innovate with fashion, art, and photography not only to see the beauty in the work, but to see the beauty that it could influence on the world. I want to curate the closest thing to magic. We live in an exciting age of exploration and innovation, meaning that all dreams are virtually possible. The human race has grown incredibly since the beginning of time; 62

artconceptmagazine

do not you want to see how much farther we can grow? Through StyleBone Fuze I hope to make not only our collaborators with each collection grow, but also our viewers. Influencing all to follow their dreams, I feel as if everyone has a talent or passion some just need a little nudge to go and grab it. I followed these words of my own by replacing my wishbone, with my backbone, and then eventually my StyleBone.

64

artconceptmagazine

StyleBone Fuze is a magazine devoted to the worlds of fashion, art, and photography, released on the 6th. While the date is significant, the time is not. The significance of the 6th being my great grandfathers birthday, the man whose great ethereal spirit inspired the creation of StyleBone. The world has a universal way of speaking to us, we just do not know its language yet. Our world revolves around artwork created in a distinctive and new way for each collection, by a different featured artist. Any size, form, or medium is welcomed as a centerpiece (Or pieces, 12, for that matter in our newest collection). We know we are on the right path when a StyleBone artist creates a piece that aligns itself with our ideals. Next we build the creative umbrella, filling all the holes of the collection with different creative artists of all sorts. If you have a talent, we want to see it, here it, taste it... whatever it may be! We aim to be a platform in which each collection comes full circle, just as

the world seems to be based on that as well. Ever heard of what goes around comes around? With our current collection and the many more to come, at StyleBone, we hope to influence in much more than fashion, art, and photography, but anything in the world that is beautiful as well as progressive thinking, morals, and ideals. StyleBone Fuze is our own meaning, taken from the word fusion -- the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity. As well as the Z, meaning to represent a lightning bolt, due to the strange event of myself actually being struck by lightning a few years ago. Each collection, hopes to be many things, but all unifying, fuzing, together to become one and have one meaning, to make the world a better place for our loved ones, for the ones who need love, and for future generations to come. With Love, Ashleigh Hill founder of StyleBone Fuze artconceptmagazine
