Legos and face paint make for a good day

Not everyone is ready to throw on a costume and jump right into the sea of fans. Boom eased into the experience, opting for his favorite pants and a shirt with a cape. The Deadpool face came at the end of the day and seemed to give him new super powers.

We took his stroller and looked for all the things it seemed like he would want to do, but we also had no desire to wait in lines so that limited our options. The Family HQ was pretty empty so there wasn’t much of a wait for face paint. Meanwhile, video games had huge lines and seemed too advanced for him. He was 4 and a half years old in October.

We found mini figures for his dad and played at the giant Lego display to promote the Batman movie and DC Superhero Girls.
