Rewatching the videos, it appears that in order to get Betty to keep moving early on Friday, we asked her if she wanted to go look for Five Nights at Freddy’s characters (her obsession at that time) “or a different dog house.” Luis had been at the convention Thursday, so he had seen the Puglie booth. We basically took her straight there and it seems she screamed “Lady Bug!” before cutting in front of the girl dressed as Lady Bug (see Page 43). For real, I think she cut in front of Lady Bug to hug puppies and then held up Lady Bug some more by asking her to pose for a picture. Betty says she remembers “puppies stuck in donuts. We had to get them out.” On video, the woman running the booth says, “Please don’t pull on that! You can hug them...” The booth was basically empty by Sunday afternoon. —MV
