ART RESIDENCE PAPRADISHTE Collective exhibition

Art Residence Papradishte is an organic mixture of experiments in the field of the fine arts and music one. It takes place in a free(d) area at an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level. It is designed as a utopian community – platform whose basic purpose is setting efficient models of self-organisation and solidarity by solidifying creative networking in Macedonia and the region. At the exhibition, unique graphic arts will be presented, created through a process of collective work over the course of the residences in August 2018 and 2019, created on the principle of “sieve without chemistry”, that is, printing without illumination, through techniques of planned and unplanned printing, collaging and direct interventions with a drawing. The Residence takes place as a result of cooperation of Zadruga 5060, EG Green Power and Partizan Print. 08:00 pm - National Theatre

SUMMER CINEMA

Selection of short films „THE WATER“ (8’25’’) A short documentary shot in Pustec, Albania. The water is a metaphorical view of life in a drought of people living in Pustec by Lake Prespa. In addition to OPIUM Film, the coproducers are Balkan’s Gate from Albania, Espectro MX Films from Mexico, from where the actor in the leading role, Cristo Fernandez, is as well. The film score is written by Aleksandar Tomevski, the sound design is by Slobodan Trajkoski, while the idea and screenplay, cinematography and editing are by Kiril Karakash and Svetislav Podleshanov.


„THE WOMAN IN PURPLE“ (20’) In 2016, Algin and her crew start to shoot the documentary The Woman in Purple, which investigates the increased violence against women in Turkey, where at least two women lose their life every day. Hunting a story of domestic violence victims, the members of the crew themselves become victims, hunted in the story, leaving only their footage behind. Directed by: Aleksandra Kardalevska and Onur Ozcan. „THE LAST CHURCH BELLS“ (13’) The last remaining resident, a worn-out old man, of an old abandoned village communicates with the last resident of the neighbouring village via the church bell. A short film that has won multiple awards at world festivals, directed by Nikolce Popovski and produced by Goce Gralevski. „WHEN WE ARE GONE“ (19’16’’) A short drama produced by Quasar Film, directed by Stefan Palitov. What happens when an unexpected death occurs in a harmonious and creative family atmosphere? When we are gone, the fight that remains is left to those after us. This is a story of a family in which the father, Boris, and the small daughter, Sara, are left to face the loss of their wife and mother. They must find their roles in the new situation and carry on with life… „DISCONNECTED“ (22’) Tells the story of a young lad and a grown woman, a meeting from which their lives will forever be intertwined. Directed and written by Radovan Petrovic. BONUS: „ТRANSIT“ (11’) Transit is movie about the struggle of child medium to liberate himself and his grandmother guardian angel from the complex relationship with his depressed mother.


+ „SECRET INGREDIENT“ (104’) Secret Ingredient – a Macedonian film directed by Gjorce Stavreski, who is at the same time the writer and producer of the film, as well as the sound editor. Blagoj Veselinov and Anastas Tanovski are in the leading roles. Secret Ingredient is a film that balances between a family drama, a dark comedy and social commentary. The biggest charm of the film is the non-pretentiousness and honesty that covers the shortcomings and uncertainty in some parts. A social story that paints a clear picture of the conditions in which modern people in Macedonia live and work. The film, created only due to the whole crew’s dedication and enthusiasm, has conquered the world, with more than 17 awards for best international film.

ELEGANT CEREMONIES

Ambient exhibition by Gjorgji Mitrevski Installation, sounds and photographs by Gjorgji Mitrevski, whose goal is to offer a different experience of THE HAMAM in Gevgelija. The once spa will once again vibrate through the sensibility of the bodies seen through the author’s unique perception. A different experience that will tingle all of your senses. The hamam as a place for relaxation, treatment and regeneration of the body with art. Gjorgji Mitrevski lives and works in Skopje and Mavrovo. 09:00 pm - National Theatre

THE LAST CRY

an exhibition by the Le Dernier Cri collective + a music performance by Pakito Bolino Mondo DC Le Dernier Cri is a workshop for screen printing, created in 1993 from the ashes of the French graphic underground movement of the 1980s. Pakito Bolino is the Master of screen printing at La Dernier Cri. With its polymorphous, mutant, protean and intrusive independent editorial structure, Le Dernier Cri has generated more than 400 monograms and collective books in different formats (from a book to a poster to framing) in limited edition (between 100 and 1000 samples). At the exhibition, an opus of 30 graphic arts from around the whole world will be presented, while Pakito Bolino will also have a music performance of MONDO DC, a peculiar soundtrack live of a video animation - a collage of 40 artists (MONDO DC).

Group Exhibition + music concert + performance GROUP EXHIBITION OF GRAPHIC ARTS IN SCREEN PRINTING: Angeles Alarcon Olivia Pils Werner Kernebeck Marko Krojac MUSIC CONCERTS: Ignatzbee Arrangements and sound engineer / polymechanics / invisibility The Band to be named featuring Fake Mistress In the frames of Czentrifuga’s JEKAMI! tradition, a new band has been formed, consisting of the members of the band that travel together. “While we travel, we will have time to practice and we will be collecting sounds and impressions for our set. In the gang, there is a wonderful voice of Fake Mistress.” Czentrifuga Fallen Stars A surrealistic collective coming from the opposite side of time. In the years of long interstellar travelling through the vast realms of chaos, through different starry systems, the group of dozen musicians, dancers and performers picks up sounds, echoes, noises, universe melodies and field recordings to fuse them together. The big band coming from the future! DJ Olias Sunhillow Deep bass from the United Kingdom and from there.


DJ Krojac Proto-techno and Industrial dance classics. Performance David & Werner Czentrifuga – common name for a space and people that work together in Jekami! workshops (Jeder Kann Mitmachen! = Everyone Can Join in) for silkscreenprint, music; upcycling deco,costume & performance (Gogo Trash); 2D and Clay animation. The staff are mostly voluntary and represent a mix from all ages, genders and backgrounds. This “D.I.Y.” collective and the individual artists therein, have been involved in many exhibitions and presentations throughout Europe, the Balkans as well as Moscow and New York. These actions and events play an important role in publicizing the work of the parent association, presenting important socio cultural issues to a larger audience. Formats remain flexible and intuitive to all creative inputs. Participants are encouraged to help each other, pool ideas and share skill sets in a creative, collective environment, developing projects together and having a say in the process. 00:00 - De Facto Discotheque

ТRAP DA FUCK UP - LIVE Trap Da Fuck Up is a collective of artists which has grown into a leading movement for trap music in Macedonia. Starting from 2014, the collective became known for excellent parties at which it has managed to unite fans of the new music wave and trap artists from the Republic. In the last five years, TDFU has left its mark on more than 40 events, thus helping create the trap scene in Macedonia. Currently, the collective is led by artists Irie Scratch, Druggy and Marsa, but you can always see guest appearances by artists from the new trap wave at their shows, too.

BOSH ALTERNATIVE CORNER FAIR OF ALTERNATIVE PRODUCTION HOUSES AND WORKSHOPS An attempt to decentralise alternative production. In open space. In the middle of the city of casinos. Art Equilibrium Publishing house which cooperates with different collectives in the area of music, graphic arts and poetry. Matrijarshija Self managed organism, autonomous alternative culture centre, silk printing collective, FIJUK distribution network and TURBOSTRIP publishing house from Zemun, Serbia. SlovoKult :: Literatur/a SlovoKult :: Literatur/a (www.slovokult-literatur.de) is a bilingual online journal for selected contemporary and unforgettable poetry, prose, critics, translation and art. Since 2015 it has realized two collector’s editions. Since 2018 SK::L has also started the realization of the SlovoKult::literARTour :: On the fair it will offer you quality translations of German-


language prose works that were released for Blesok, Skopje, between 2009 and 2015. Aleksandar Denic Artist who paints, draw and signs independently and as part of different collectives working in Belgrade, Serbia. As contemporary – traditional visual interpreter of local pop cultures he creates images that attract many reaction from the audience. What will he create inspired by our local culture? PMG Recordings Independent discography label which in the last years is an important factor in the local musical development, essential supporter of the new alternative music scene and the new generation bands. Out design Autonomous concept that creates in the field of fine design based on the values of efficiency, intimacy, pleasure and mood which for the lightning of the fair will produce unique cement edition. Czentrifuga Despite the production itself, the Czentrifuga collective is setting up a workshop to which EVERYONE IS INVITED to experiment in the field of music and screen printing. Those interested in participating can apply at: „Examples“ – workshop for a comic book with BOSH Festival Examples is a comic book, a concept, a way of life. An endless narrative through a comic book. Set on the principle of STDUIOSTRIP with a machine that prints and copies, we can add more pages to the already existing prototypes. Let’s complement them with narratives from BOSH Festival by drawing, sticking, editing. Let’s make examples in Examples.


Toma Dimovski The walking legend Toma will represent himself with handmade wood music sculptures. They will be installed in space and offered for music experiments with guidance and mentorship of the author. Unique experiment music experience. BOSH compilation – listening promotion A compilation launched as a product and completion of the ten-year existence of BOSH Festival. An international compilation consisting of 10 songs by bands that have performed at BOSH Festival over the past 10 years. 08:00 pm - Amam

EXHIBITIONS Natasha Velichkovska THE AESTHETICS OF DAY-TO-DAY LIFE Exhibition of photographs Natasha Velickovska is an observer and reteller, that is, collector of stories. Her photographs mark the spirit of modern living and latent pleasures of day-to-day life. The photographs of „The Aesthetics of Day-To-Day Life“ concept exist with a double life - the story of the subject and the unimposing romantic interpretation of the objective, through which we see also the author’s behaviour towards the medium – honest and idealised. Through three wholes of the concept: portrait, street photography and narrative photography, that is, a photo essay. The exhibition puts first the “passer-by” from any drama. They’re consistent together, spreading an atmosphere like one of happiness glimmers on a peaceful summer afternoon.


Ljubica Delimanova HIDDEN WORLDS Exhibition of drawings Intensively and openly, Ljubica Delimanova, through drawings, tells the story of her inner self, what cannot be seen with the naked eye, but also what authors can experience only when they manage to truly ascend themselves in the depths of the own self. If you look closely, you will see also something of yourself, from the deep collective unaware, what connects and gives us a source for life. You you might also gain the courage to draw because drawing isn’t only a gift for the gods, but rather a necessary tool for a more quality life with oneself. Ljubica Delimanova is born and lives in Gevgelija. Drawings in different techniques (coloured pencils, markers and watercolours). Marko Krojac MONUMENTS OF THE REVOLUTION Exhibition of screen-printed photographs Marko Krojac (Marc Schneider, 1968), who lives and works in Berlin, is the older brother of the independent scene: a free artist, activist, squatter, musician, DJ and chronicler. For more than 15 years, he has dedicatedly documented the monumental monuments of the National Liberation Struggle on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. Today, he is part of the Czentrifuga multimedia collective from Berlin, where he actively makes music and works with screen printing. He has had exhibitions in Tokyo, Geneva, Belgrade, Berlin, Paris… His exhibition of screen-printed photographs titled “Monuments of the Revolution” archives the Partisan monuments from the former Yugoslavia and shows how culture memories and concepts of the identity in the Balkans have changed since World War I. The exhibition, which focuses on the monuments in Macedonia, faces us the real situation of these works of


art, some of which have been reconfigured, abandoned or forgotten, but still living central places of the memories, history and commemoration. 09:30 pm - Handball Court

CONCERTS NARDIS – LIVE An instrumental duo. Guitar, double bass, game, harmony, movement jazz. Filip Dinev and Pence Kralev. FOLTIN – LIVE The band from Bitola whose music is hard to define, usually described as surrealistic, passionate and vibrant, with a hot dancing atmosphere, with ingredients of multiple genres. Foltin describe themselves as a pseudo-migrant cabaret and their concerts often turn into a true performance. The band has performed at many music and theatre festivals and has received multiple awards for its work. MARS – DJ SET Aleksandar Sandrevski, also known as, DJ Marso was made in 103 Radio. Having grown up in Skopje, he is a naturalised Gevgelija guy, a Martian by conviction. He will play music for you so that you get going in the morning and stretch. BOSH RECHARGEABLE A whole-day event and beaching on Sifulajka BOSH RECHARGABLE is a point-repetition of every BOSH. It is a point that happens out of itself, with just a little physical effort to gain downward momentum towards the mountain Sifulajka River. - What you need to have: Accumulated fatigue and heat so that you get wet in the rechargeable cold water and spirit for hanging out. - What you need to have (not compulsory): Swimsuit, towel and swatter for horse flies. + FAT KITCHEN Our new favorite cooking show with Nikola Isailovski a.k.a. DARKNESS REMIX

Theatre play (MKC production) Darkness Remix is a different view on Kole Caule’s classic drama, put in the context of an urban hip-hop album. A music-drama performance with an extraordinary approach, with a specific performance by the cast, who, through the original versification and music of „Zad Agolot“, carries us to a new sublimate between drama and hip-hop subculture.
