LAURA KIRAR'S
passions include the current development of a "nexus for artistic collaboration" at her ex-hacienda in the Yucatan and her mission to preserve and evolve traditional artisan techniques around the globe. Life in Mexico has been an extraordinary source of inspiration for Kirar. As a new direction, she has focused intensely on the integration of craft and primitive forms within her modern designs. Her latest collection with Arteriors highlights the beauty of raw materials and natural elements such as sisel cord and terra cotta. Whether the application is contemporary or traditional, Laura Kirar's collection provides an artful "hecho a mano" (made by hand) flair to the interior world.
