We give voice to international artists

providing them with opportunities to reach greater popularity, recognition and success in a fast-moving technological age. By participating in our online Art Contests and publications such artists will be easily accessed by greater and more diverse audience. We post all artists’ work on our Online Gallery and through social media channels for the duration of the contest and later on our Gallery Archive sector. Our contest winners are featured in our online publications as well as in our Winners Gallery. We believe that with common efforts, we could not only help artists and writers gain greater popularity but also promote the beauty of artistic visions and the purity of poetic insights.

When I paint, I experience joy and discovery. I create acrylic painting with

fluid acrylics in squeeze bottles and watered-down acrylic paint poured onto the canvas. I build up a texture, by layering paint with spatula or smearing a pigment with my fingers, straight from the tube. My personal style evolves through my travels and influences in life. Every artwork is the result of long painting process; every canvas is born during the creative search. By choosing vibrant and rich colors, my painting gets energy. By adding neutral colors, I achieve serenity.

The world surrounding us is full of endless opportunities and visions that can unexpectedly captivate my

attention and inspiration for a painting at any moment in time. My art is a way that I can create something that sets me apart and leaves behind pieces of me and my story. I often express challenging feelings that are otherwise hard to approach. I hope to create pieces that allow others to become captivated as they personally connect with my work from the context of their own lives.

Each of the seams is the flow of time and often becomes a road to my childhood.

My mother’s factory played an important role. Threads, cloths, and cottons around were good toys of mine along with the sounds of sewing machines. The sewing machine, at which my mother always worked during my childhood, gives a visual motif to me that stimulates a different kind of maternal love, symbolizing the flow of time. Sewing is like a mother’s touch on her child. Sewing is a repetitive action on myself that has therapeutic effects.

Linda Litteral is an artist and arts educator living in San Diego. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree at San Diego State University. Linda is a member of the Allied Craftsmen Group, the Feminist Image Group, and the Ceramic Artists of San Diego. “My sculptural work is grounded in social change. I discuss visually the need for a voice in child abuse issues. Using beauty, I seduce the viewer into the subject matter and allow them a safe place to think about the problem. My painting explores the more personal ideas of meditation and becoming grounded within one’s self.”

Sara Lucia Carbonara, •SLC•, was born in Italy and is now a Glasgow based art-

ist. She has always been fascinated by the feminine universe in all of its aspects, including the deepest and most uncomfortable. Her artworks have been displayed in the USA as well as in France, UK and Italy. The watercolor on paper “Cora” analyses a spoilt love felt by a woman who invested all of herself in a relationship and eventually she saw it dying, as shown by the black and white palette. The skull is on her lap symbolizing the death of her innermost feeling.

Katarína Kalmanová was born in Slovakia, residing in Bratislava. She graduated from the Faculty of Education in Fine Arts, Univerzita Konštantína Filozofa in Nitra, Slovakia. Her paintings are mostly mixed media or acrylic. “In my paintings I try to capture everyday situations and emotions that touched my soul. To live them through and get inside again. I like if the picture tells the viewers their own story or reflects their feelings, and they use their own imagination as well. I love to play with colours and textures. Abstraction and mixed media is what allows me to be wide-open to all shapes and colours, and its unpredictable combinations.”

Born March 3, 1973 in Madrid, Oscar Francescutto thinks of himself as a surrealist painter. His work investigates the human spirit through a metaphysical filter and features both his Hispanic origins and his daily experience in Friuli, a northeastern province of Italy. He mainly draws inspiration from painters such as De Chirico and Picasso and generally stretches among surrealism masters.”

Expressions of color, movement and light are important to my fabric art. The work is characterized by freehand curved cutting, machine piecing to achieve new wholes, and flowing, stitched textures. Color inculcates mood and excitement in my compositions. It adds depth, lighting contrasts, a sense of movement, and spontaneous beauty. Originating – Greens, Extrapolating, Composing Colors, Evaporating and Accelerating-Decelerating are all from my “Agglomerations series” --- color explorations in a matrix format --- row-by-column arrays of similar shapes, in different tones and patterns. I hope to be collected some day.

I capture women in their daily lives framed by abstract spherical forms meant to symbolize the technological elements that have come to define our modern world. It seems that there are more connections but less closeness, distancing from our people and identity. Women are a symbol of transcendence, unity and coming from an emigrated family to México I feel very close to its origins. Mexican crafts represent its culture and identity so by combining these elements I transmit emotions and give a glimpse of an intimate moment. In this time of detachment go back to your roots and really connect.

To me, Art is most of all a diligent work that invigorates my spirit and brings light to

my life on a daily basis. In the creative process, I am both the creator whose vision generously weaves out a myriad of forms and the apprentice who refines every small detail until the artwork becomes alive. Whether drawing a portrait, human figure, or landscape, painting with oil, watercolor, or charcoal, I find equal pleasure in my work; it is an enlightenment that on a larger scale produces wholeness and gives meaning to a fully realized existence.

Drawing, design and etching are the different techniques that build up various

layers in Katarzyna Jablonska’s practice: research photography, operating with line, light, shadow and composition making a technically and formally rewarding drawing, drawing-based design for printmaking, and finally etching – developing the image further using drypoint and collagraph techniques. It is a stimulating intellectual and intuitive process drawing on her attention to details, passion, vision and experience. Her artist’s perception, sensitivity and receptivity are exemplified in signature work and the acquired technical skills are the bridge to dynamic approach and a foundation for a natural, conscious, genuine creative process.
