Project Proposal The piece that I have been working on is going to be an installaon which allows the audience to interact with it as well as allows them to play with the artefact. As this is my fist public art and how this project has allowed me to explore product and furniture design, I wanted to combine them for this project. I started exploring different forms which could go with the public space of the metro staon. So working with metro staon as a public space to work with, I wanted to show movement with my art piece. The labour work which is going to be put in making this project depends on the material I plan to work with, and it changes the way people will interact with the arfact. For my second exploraon I want to create another installaon piece with the same concept of movement and include interacvity with the piece.
As a designer taking up art in transit as final year project made me think about different aspects of design associated with public space and explore myself as an arst more than a designer. With already having done a kinec art piece for my pre-dip; I wanted to explore further with kinec art piece and the response it gets from an audience if made interacve. Kinec art is mostly about moon and movement with an external force. So I wanted to take this as an challenge and see if kinec art can be made more interacve and involving more audience with the piece rather than just eye-gazing.
About the project

Project Brief
Design Direction
Three aspects of public art
Activeness The site should be active for an public art peice to generate the amount of viewers to look at it
Interaction The art piece to speak for itself for people to come and interact with the art-piece because that is what and artefact should do.
Implementation If a space speaks to you in a certain matter, implementing it in such a way that affects a large group of people is the key.
