I am a 36 year old self taught Indy artist, who specializes in pencil and ink drawings. I’m very eclectic when it comes to subject matter and style and I’m always willing to try something new and dramatic to create the perfect piece.

Gayane is a Virginia-based painter and collage artist whose prolific work focuses on showing the beauty of women and portraiture. She turned her work into a statement about the power of art to share messages of hope, faith, beauty and help relieve stress and loneliness post-COVID.

In my work, I‘m interested in the denied contradictions that I see in existence in this world. That word white people still have a difficult time talking about. I do this by challenging the viewer’s ideas about history, culture and society. Questioning if my culture really fits.
