The reminder; the call to prayer; the minaret. Islam is a religion which holds several wonders, and in this artwork, it symbolizes one of its most beautiful wonders: its architectural beauty.

The minaret is a tower that calls upon the believers to prayer five times every single day, and not once has it ever missed a call.

Stories and sermons about our Prophet and his faith are captured within these walls. The devotions and faith of the believers are encapsulated within these grounds. And the calls of the prayers, that never have a beginning, nor an end will forever be held as a distance echo through the minarets.

This artwork captures the essence of Islamic architecture with its intricate carvings that has gloriously stood for hundreds of years.

Although the UAE has evolved into a modern country, the deep Arabic legacy and heritage are still clearly visible in recognition to the founding father Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.

He was a man of wisdom, dedication, intelligence, and a vision that is being carried forward until this day. Even though Sheikh Zayed passed away several years ago, his memory remains strong until this day as he is considered to be the Founding Father. He is fondly referred to as “Baba Zayed” which translates to “Father Zayed”. As the UAE continues to progress towards the future it holds to its past with an equal passion. Where the call to prayer continues and our roots going back to our Founding Father are never forgotten.
