Mantanguru means 'from the sand' in Pitjantjatjara language and in the words of the artists 'that's how our stories were told before'.
From the home of the Anangu people this exhibition brings together painitngs coupled with hand built and wheel-thrown ceramics using the sgraffito technique to apply their walka (design) reprenting connection to Country and storytelling.
