BOLSOVER BULLS

Rugby Football League Club

As the summer approaches we have seen an increase in the number of players across the club. This is something we are hoping continues to grow so we are able to maintain age groups. Over the past month we have attended the Post Mill Jubilee celebration, which was a fantastic day. This saw the club run demonstration sessions and a competition for somebody in the community to win a prize. Out of this day alone the club received a lot of interest showing the club is really beginning to grow. As we looked forward to the summer and beyond, we really want to focus on growing the club, but more specifically, the girls we have and the U12/ U14s. This means we are looking for girls of all ages between 3 and 16 to come and give rugby a go and also looking for boys in Years 6,7,8 and 9. The past month has also seen our u14s play their first home game of the season, playing their hearts out and running one of the more established teams very close in terms of the result. It is fantastic to see the progress this age group are making and even more impressive to see numbers slowly growing. As a reward for their hard work this season the 14s were also sent on a team bonding session at Bawtry Paintballing. This was a day that was enjoyed by all and thoroughly deserved. We are looking to attend many more events over the course of the next month with visits to South Normanton Gala and Pinxton sports day to name a few.

As ever we are always looking for new players covering ages 3-16, both boys and girls and as the club grows, we are also looking for more volunteers.
