“LOTERIA MEXICANA� The lott ery game, widely disseminated in Mexico, is a gambling game consisti ng of a lot of 54 cards and an indefi nite number of cards called "tables" with 16 of those randomly chosen cards. Each ti me a lett er is extracted from the lot, it is announced and the parti cipants must mark that card on their tables if they have it unti l they fi ll their board and shout "loteria"

PRESENTATI ON
International Figurative Art Project, is the opportunity to group in an exhibition some of the new figurative proposals around a game that has been a reference to Mexican culture, where the objective is to reinterpret the content of each card to the contemporary and aesthetic vision of each author. Each painting measures 70 x 50 x 5 cm (vertical) and presents the number and Spanish name of the card in the composition. This proposal was born in conjunction with the French movement "Libellule". Grouping authors from all over the world.
Recreate the 54 Cards of the traditional Mexican lottery within the vision of artists figurative paintings of the 21st century. To link the figurative proposals of the state of Jalisco and Mexico with those of international authors. Create a two-way cultural exchange: 1) Artist from all around the world reinterpreting the Lottery game 2) To make the Mexican game recognized through a traveling exhibition abroad.
OBJECTIVES
Each author participates with either one or two pieces, by doing it with only one it is randomly assigned and only when participating with two, one can be chosen and leave the other to chance or have both randomly selected.
DYNAMIC
The result of the sweepstakes is unappealable and nontransferable to encourage creative exercise. Each piece measures 70 x 50 cm. Without frame and with edges painted black or taped. The pieces present number and the name of the card in Spanish in any place of the composition and in vertical format The interpretation is free, the painting can include more elements as long as the object or character of the card is the main element in the composition.
