Using quotidian materials from the Home Depot and 99 Cent stores, Jim creates offhanded sculptures and installations that marry formalist impulse with material kitsch and punk rock spirit. Jim lives in Houston, TX and holds an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art. His work was recently placed with the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Jim has exhibited extensively throughout the US and has an upcoming solo exhibition this spring at Art Palace, Houston.
