OLEKSII KOVAL ENAMELS
“Art is a fairy tale, it’s a mystery. If an oil painting for example is highly predictable, and etching implies about third of unexpected effects, the result of working with enamel in its turn is up to 70% accidental. Accident is the most beautiful thing in art. When you master the main secrets of the technique you can deliberately change something, do something wrong on purpose, and upon getting the results you can build a whole new system from this mistake. Enamel is a technique that allows you to create a mystery.” OLEKSII KOVAL
