“My passion is working with preschool-age children, giving them opportunities to be creative in art. In the style of Reggio Emilia, I provide a creative art environment that gives children the opportunity to observe, inquire, explore and use fine motor and cognitive skills. Art provides them with an awareness of themselves and their surroundings.” Viviana Leija-Sysak “My teaching philosophy is to let the students experiment and become connected with their first creative approach. I encourage them to explore the materials or change perspectives to have different results. I also remind them that every artwork is unique, but the process of being involved is what makes students grow artistically and open their minds to creativity.”

“I have worked many years as an early childhood educator and I weave music into my daily curriculum. My background allows me to bring a unique teaching style to my classes, incorporating singing with guitar, musical games, movement and exploration of rhythm instruments.”
