About ArtsCamp

The ArtsCenter’s ArtsCamp and Summer Youth Workshop program offers full and half-day programs for artists entering grades K-12 in a wide variety of disciplines. ArtsCamp features small classes taught by professional artists with a focus on skill building and creative expression. We offer visual, performing, and digital art camps every week of CHCCS summer vacation.

New This Year: Customize your Camp Experience! In addition to 10 weeks of small, in-person summer camps, this year you can also round out your camp experience with these new camp types:

• Online Camps: Online Camps are offered for Little Campers,

ArtsFocus, and Summer Youth Workshops. All online classes run for 1 week each, although the duration of the daily class time varies by camp. • Hybrid Camps: Hybrid camps offer the flexibility of online camps and the fun of being in-person. These camps run for two weeks.

The first eight sessions consist of online camp for one hour each day. The final two classes are in-person at The ArtsCenter for three hours each day. • Online Workshops: Want to sneak a little bit of art into your busy summer schedule? Online workshops are short camps consisting of two 90-minute sessions.

The ArtsCenter offers a limited number of scholarships for ArtsCamp based on financial need. For information on applying, please visit
