Kate Mosse: Warrior Queens & Quiet Revolutionaries

International bestselling author Kate Mosse OBE comes to The Apex, Bury St Edmunds on April 4th as part of her first ever theatre tour. Her new book, ‘Warrior Queens & Quiet Revolutionaries: How Women (Also) Built the World’ is a celebration of nearly 1000 amazing women from history, and also a detective story. Addressing this centuries-old discrepancy, ‘Warrior Queens & Quiet Revolutionaries’ seeks to put women back into the history books: Mothers of Invention; warrior queens and pirate commanders; women who dedicated their lives to the natural world or to medicine; engineers and explorers, lawyers and scientists; women of courage who fought for what they believed; and the unsung heroes of stage, screen and stadium. Audiences can expect a fabulous evening of entertainment with storytelling, music and images as we meet those who fought for what they believed and those who reached for the stars.
