Dawn Harries Art

Dawn Harries is a Welsh Contemporary Landscape Painter, using the natural beauty of the British countryside as her inspiration, especially the rolling hills and rugged coastline of Wales.

Dawn uses the effects of colour and contrast in her paintings to capture the seasons and atmosphere of the landscape, to bring warmth, nature and sea air into your home.

‘Nature’s Canvas’ is a solo exhibition of more than 25 paintings, capturing quiet moments within the landscape in an impressionistic style. An exhibition not to be missed.

Anna has been designing jewellery and artwork since 2001. She specialises in recycling plastics, but enjoys working in a variety of media allowing her to explore her passion for recycling, the environment and illustration in her designs. Her plastic ranges are created using recycled bottles and have a 95% recycled content. Her latest bold range explores colour and shape in cuffs that are adjustable so fit almost any wrist. They are light to wear, absolutely contemporary, and are a best seller in Bluestone. Aluminium is one of the most efficiently recycled materials and Anna uses it to create delicate and beautiful scenes reflecting her love of nature etched onto cuffs earrings and pendants. Anna also somehow finds the time to create and teach artwork with local schools and community groups.

Sue Brown is an artist who uses printmaking to tell stories. Inspired by process as much as nature, her work springs from the pages of sketchbooks, and she develops carefully researched themes, exploring and developing them with print, textiles and vitreous enamel techniques. She has been making collagraphs for nearly 20 years and is inspired by all things ornithological, particularly fascinated by the antics of corvids and our relationship with the feathered visitors to her urban garden.

Hugely experienced in many areas of print making, including etching, collagraphs and her own “Hybrid” prints, her work has an gentle but enduring character.
