“Time and Tide” is a collection of work by Jane Paice inspired by the magnificence of the sea surrounding the Isle of Anglesey. In this collection, Jane explores the relentless energy and dynamic nature of the sea juxtaposed with the fleeting passage of our time on earth and the echoes and footprints we leave behind.

Set amongst an acre of beautiful gardens in the picturesque Monmouthshire countryside with stunning views of the local mountains, Chapel Cottage Studio (CCS) offers a friendly, relaxed learning environment where the emphasis is on enjoying yourself as you learn!

With a packed programme of Art classes and workshops running throughout the year and a “home from home” atmosphere where students are encouraged to make themselves a cuppa, have a chat and get to know one another, Chapel Cottage Studio is a fantastic place to develop or discover your creative side.

CCS work with over 20 hand picked tutors from around the country to provide a fantastic range of workshops and events including classes for all abilities from the absolute beginner to the more experienced artist - there really is something for everyone.

Friday 14th April – “Black Magic” charcoal workshop with tutor Allison R Neal

Saturday 15th April – “Finding New Eyes” a new look at Landscape with Allison R Neal

Friday 21st April – “Painting Skies” in oils with Feona Ness

Saturday 22nd April – “Visual Perspective” in oils with Feona Ness

Special Offer – Students attending a Friday and Saturday class together (such as either of the options above) will receive a FREE lunch from Abergavenny’s Cwtch Cafe on the Saturday (worth £15 pp).
