We are very excited to announce that The Makers Crafts Gallery, Abergavenny, during May 27th to 29th, will once again be participating in the popular CrIC Open Studios event, including Bank Holiday Monday, at our new venue in Abergavenny!

This event takes place in Crickhowell and Abergavenny, and surrounding areas – if you have not been before, you will want to pop this in your diaries!

We will also be opening our garden, full of fabulous flowers, for both sculpture and a pop-up coffee-bar - you can enjoy freshly brewed coffees, teas, and cakes.

The Gallery showcases traditional and contemporary crafts and arts. The work of 30 Makers is on display over three rooms and garden, and includes cards, paintings, willow, textiles, woodturning, prints, floristry, photography, sculpture, jewellery, and ceramics. We aim to provide a range of work from tiny to large, for all occasions, whether a little treat or a true collector’s piece.

Many of our members also run workshops, which you can discover more about on our website, or when you drop in – we usually open Tuesdays to Sundays, but for this bank holiday event we will be open Monday too!

If you have not been to us before, then you will find us in the historic Lulworth House, 30, Monk www.themakersgallery.co.uk

Street, Abergavenny, a few meters up the road from St Mary’s Church and Tithe Barn, just opposite Gateway Church, and just a few doors up from the Gallery and Studios of our neighbour Louise Collis, who is also taking part.

Parking is very convenient; Market Street, bus station or Castle Street are close by. The Gallery is located in a beautiful old Georgian property, with a varied and fascinating history, and some stunning original features, especially the library cabinet!

Each day we will have two stewards here to welcome you and show you around, and chat to you about all the fantastic exhibitions we have.

We really look forward to welcoming you between 10am and 5pm over this May Bank Holiday… come and soak up the inspiration, enjoy the warm atmosphere and delicious refreshments too.
