We keep in touch with people who go on our courses and let you know about further course opportunities, local art groups and volunteer opportunities which might be of interest. We now run our own volunteer scheme and can take some people back who have already completed one of our courses as Arts on Prescription volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please get in touch and we can explain the full details.

Textiles 12 Week Course
Tutor:
This textiles course will show you how to knit and crochet as well as exploring some basic sewing and embroidery techniques. You will use a scrapbook and practice skills each session. During this course you will design and make your own unique textile accessory, practice making the item and embellish it with your own designs.

Keeping a journal is a good way to reflect on your experiences, ideas and thoughts. A journal allows you complete creative freedom and can be kept in many ways. This course uses a mix of creative writing and art techniques, you can combine images, collages and drawings to make your own personal and visually pleasing book. The options are endless!

Fused Glass 12 Week Course

You will learn how to design, cut and make fused glass key rings, coasters and plates. Learn various glass techniques such as painting on glass and produce high quality work. Your pieces will be fired after each session and returned.
